Antique Singer Treadle Sewing Machine

Here are some images of my beloved sewing machine. Although it does work, I'd like to have the cabinet/desk restored and the actual machine cleaned properly.

I'M LISTENING

I can't really describe it accurately but, I have this feeling that fills my chest cavity.  It's the urge to flee, to run as fast as I can right now, don't look back, and don't grab anything, just run. This feeling, it's been here for days, just lingering like the smell of fresh rain, well before the first droplet drops. Last time I felt anything remotely similar was many moons ago when night after night I kept having dreams of my drowning in dark viscous water. During this time in my life, I was engaged to a man who just wasn't right for me and soon after the dreams started I began planning my exit. I wonder what my spirit is trying to tell me now.

NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY

The Accidental Life of the World's First Supermodel... I guess, if she say so... if there is even a grain of truth to her lies... she might wanna stick to modeling because writing is obviously not her talent. Although I think Mama was pretty in her youth, she just seems to be embellishing a bit too much for my tolerance. Possibly my expectations were too high, luckily I only paid $1 for this book so for what it's worth.... $1 + 1hour = eh, whatever

WORKING GIRL UPDATE

In late November I posted a blog listing a few of the goals I wanted to achieve prior to January 1, 2012. I apologize for posting this update so late but, here is it anyway:

1. Open an IRA
2. Save $2,000 gmm 
3. Purchase a gold ankh (changed my mind, purchased multiple pendants instead)
4. Purchase a netbook
5. Purchase a camera
6. Laser Hair Removal

- I've accomplished almost all my goals with the exception of laser hair removal. I'm still researching dermatologist. The one dermatologist I had in mind has yet to answer the phone or return my calls despite all the great reviews I read online and her stellar website, I'm gonna have to find a new dermatologist. Ultimately if my experience thus far is a reflection of their professionalism, I betta take my hairy self elsewhere.

WHOLE FOODS 365 CONDITIONER

Oh yea, I big chopped on January 1, 2012. We'll talk more about this later.

Back to the topic at hand...

I'm holding a bottle of Whole Foods 365 Conditioner (Fragrance Free)

I decided against using it because it smells like chemicals and I'm not too pleased with the ingredient list. 

I'm trying to minimizing my use of chemical hair products. For the last few months I've been cleansing with castile soap and conditioning with oils. That is it and That is all. Thus far I am happy with my choice.
